Jenny is a PhD candidate in the geography department with a specialization in GIScience. In her research, she is addressing the complexity of geospatial data uncertainty from socially relevant datasets. The goal of her research is to develop new intuitive uncertainty visualization methods that take into account cognitive and perceptual aspects of how humans deal with uncertainty. These visualization methods will assist users in making more informed decisions made under uncertain conditions.
